How to Build Your First AI Chatbot in Under 1 Minute

Building an AI chatbot used to mean hiring a developer, learning machine learning, and paying for cloud infrastructure. With TalkTok.AI, it takes less than a minute — and you don't need to write a single line of code.

This guide walks you through creating your first chatbot from scratch, from entering your business information to sharing a live link your customers can use right away.

What you'll need

Before you start, have two things ready:

The questions your customers ask most often — things like your hours, location, pricing, parking, or booking process. And the answers to those questions, in your own words. That's it. If you can write a short FAQ, you can build a chatbot.

Step 1 — Enter your knowledge

Once you're logged in, open your dashboard and start adding what your chatbot should know. You can do this in two ways:

Start from a template. If you run an Airbnb, a barbershop, a coffee shop, a dental clinic, a restaurant, or a car rental business, pick the matching industry template. It comes pre-filled with the questions those businesses hear most, so you only need to adjust the answers to fit your own.

Or start from scratch. Add your own topics and answers. Each entry is a topic (like "Parking") and the answer your chatbot should give (like "Free parking is available in the lot behind the building"). Add as many as you like — you can always come back and add more later.

A helpful tip: write your answers the way you'd actually say them to a customer, and include specific details like addresses, prices, and links. The more concrete your answers, the more accurate your chatbot will be.

Step 2 — Train your chatbot

When you've entered your knowledge, click Train. TalkTok reads through everything you've written and builds a smart, searchable understanding of your content in the background.

This is where the AI happens — but you don't have to think about any of it. Training usually finishes in under a minute. When it's done, your chatbot is live and ready to answer questions.

Step 3 — Share or embed the link

After training, TalkTok gives you a single chatbot link. This link is all you need to put your assistant in front of customers. There's no app to install and no account for your customers to create — they simply tap the link and start asking questions.

You can use that same link almost anywhere:

Paste it on your website as a button or a chat widget. Add it to your social media profiles — your Instagram bio, Facebook page, or TikTok profile. Turn it into a QR code for the real world — a sticker at your front desk, a table tent, a business card, or an Airbnb key box. Or drop it into direct messages like an email signature, a text reply, or a booking confirmation.

Wherever a link can go, your chatbot can go.

What happens next

Your chatbot is now answering customers around the clock. But it also keeps getting better. Whenever a customer asks something your chatbot can't answer yet, TalkTok records that question for you. You'll see it in your dashboard, and once you add an answer, your chatbot will handle that same question correctly from then on.

So the more your chatbot is used, the smarter it becomes — with just a few minutes of upkeep from you.

Ready to build yours?

That's the whole process: enter your knowledge, train, and share. Most business owners have a working chatbot before their coffee gets cold. Head to your dashboard and create your first one — you'll be surprised how quickly it comes together.
